This unique gueuze is the result of a carefully crafted blend of one-, two-, and three-year-old lambics, matured in traditional oak casks. The result is a highly fermented gueuze that is both dry and full-bodied.

Edition No. 8 stands out for its bright golden color and lively carbonation, which accentuate the complexity of this gueuze. On the palate, it offers a perfect balance between crisp acidity and rich, fruity notes of green apple and grapefruit, rounded out with a long, dry finish that invites you to sip again. Since 2015, Boon Brewery has released a new edition of Black Label every year, each with its own unique blend. While each edition has a distinctive and distinctive profile, they all share the recognizable full-bodied taste and refined dry finish that make this series so special.

The first Black Label was launched to celebrate the brewery's 40th anniversary. For this special series, Boon selects only lambics with the highest attenuation, in which almost all fermentable sugars have been converted. Before leaving the warehouse, the Black Label matures for at least another year in the cool cellars, allowing it to fully develop its complex flavor and characteristic dryness.

Thanks to its high fermentation rate, Oude Geuze Boon Black Label is extra dry, while the wild yeasts create a rich, full-bodied, and layered taste experience.
