Cam Gueuze is the classic pride of De Oude Cam. This young lambic is then transferred to oak barrels over a hundred years old from the Czech Pilsner Urquell brewery, which impart subtle micro-oxidation and additional aromatic depth to the beer.

Cam Gueuze is a carefully crafted blend of lambics of varying ages, with wort from one-, two-, and three-year-old lambics, creating a harmonious balance of fresh vibrancy, complexity, and depth. After blending, the beer is refermented in the bottle for at least one year to further develop the flavors and create natural bubbles of carbonation. Each bottle represents three years of intense work, where craftsmanship, time, and patience combine to create a vibrant, sparkling gueuze that is fresh, complex, and full of character.

Karel Goddeau is known as an enfant terrible among gueuze blenders. Since 2018, he has refused to call his gueuze "Oude Geuze" (Old Geuze), in protest against the rise of gueuze on tap and the monoblends of larger breweries. His vision remains unwaveringly purist: lambic par excellence, artisanal, and respectful of tradition.
