3 Fonteinen Plum is the result of the slow maceration of hand-picked full (baking) plums on traditional lambic, without the addition of juices, syrups or sweeteners. This unfiltered and unpasteurized lambic is an authentic representation of the craftsmanship of 3 Fonteinen.

For this plum, the old plum variety Belle De Louvain was used, which was hand-picked in Limburg, Belgium. The maceration lasted almost four months and the lambic for both maceration and blending comes from six different barrels and thirteen different brews. The weighted average age of this fruit blend is almost 22 months. The final proportion of fruit is 385 grams of plums per liter of plum, and almost half of the grains used come from the Pajottenland. This makes it a 100% 3 Fonteinen brewed lambic, which beautifully embodies the essence of the region and tradition.

To best bring out the aroma of this beer, we recommend using a corresponding glass.
