Daughter L’Ensemble Double BA. An exceptional, wood-aged, all-malt beer with refermentation in the bottle. This rich barley wine combines the refined, tart character of wine with the warm sweetness of Bourbon, creating a perfectly balanced taste experience.

L’Ensemble is first aged for three years in Brunello barrels and then refined for an additional year in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels. The result after four years of aging is a stunningly complex beer with a deeply layered flavor and an impressive alcohol content of 13% ABV.

With this beer, De Dochter van de Korenaar Brewery not only pushes the boundaries of brewing, but also of the beer's experience. Because 13% ABV is extremely heavy for an all-malt beer. The line between beer and wine is deliberately blurred here: part of the fermentation is carried out with wine yeast to achieve this high alcohol content and the unique flavor sensation.
