Oude Geuze De Cam is a craft family beer from the De Cam gueuze blendery, located in the heart of Gooik in the Pajottenland region, a region with a centuries-old lambic brewing tradition. This exceptional beer is extremely rare; only a very limited number of bottles are produced, making it an exclusive experience for lovers of authentic Belgian beers.
To create this Oude Geuze, the brewery carefully crafted a blend of lambic beers from different years and matured them in hundred-year-old oak barrels. This lengthy aging process allows the gueuze to develop a rich complexity and depth, with the character of each individual lambic subtly contributing to the whole.
As with all traditional gueuze beers, this beer is unpasteurized and undergoes spontaneous refermentation in the bottle, allowing it to retain its natural vibrancy and finesse. Upon pouring, the aroma opens with notes of green apple, ripe and unripe stone fruit, and a subtle hint of hay, an invitation to explore the aroma and flavor.
