Brouwerij Dilewyns
As a descendant of a brewing family, brewing is in his blood and Vincent Dilewyns started brewing in 1999 as a hobby brewer. It was not actually the intention to sell the beers, but in 2005 he was asked to serve his beer on the occasion of an exhibition. He had 1250 liters of his beer brewed at De Proefbrouwerij.
The Vicaris Triple was born and the start of Brewery Dilewyns. Shortly afterwards, the range was expanded with Vicaris Generaal and Vicardin.
At the end of 2010, a building was purchased in the industrial zone in Dendermonde to build a brewery. The official opening took place on May 20, 2011.
Meanwhile, the 2nd generation, Claire Dilewyns, is also working in the brewery.
