Brouwerij Alvinne
Alvinne Brewery was founded in 2004. All their beers are brewed with their own yeast, the Morpheus yeast.
Their first beer was the Alvinne Blond and was soon followed by a Blond Extra, Bruine and Tripel variant.
Alvinne was a pico brewery until 2011. This meant that only small quantities, a small four hectoliters at a time, were brewed. Until 2007 the brewery was located in Ingelmunster, after which it moved to Heule. In 2011, the brewery moved from Heule to Moen, where it purchased an old industrial building along the bank of the Kortrijk-Bossuit canal.
From July 2011, production started in a brand new 20hL brewing installation. The brewery specializes in craft beer.
Alvinne is a pioneer in the field of wood aging. They have a beautiful collection of unique wooden barrels and a number of foeders including 1 mega foeder of 60hL.
The image of the foeder can therefore be found in the logo of the brewery.
