Oude Geuze Boon Black Label No. 9 is an elegant and exceptionally accessible Oude Geuze, immediately surprising with a refined aroma of grapefruit, a fresh citrus note, and a pleasant, lively sparkle. This gueuze offers a complex and balanced taste experience: full-bodied, softly tart with subtle citrus accents, and a long, dry finish that invites you to sip again. The secret of this refinement lies in the carefully composed blend of one-, two-, and three-year-old lambics, matured in traditional oak casks.

Since 2015, Brouwerij Boon has annually released a unique edition of Oude Geuze Boon Black Label, each with its own unique blend. While each edition has its own character and originality, they all share a characteristic full-bodied character and a refined dry finish.

The launch of the first Black Label coincided with Brouwerij Boon's 40th anniversary. For this special series, the brewery selects only lambics with the highest attenuation, where almost all fermentable sugars have been converted. Before leaving the brewery, the Black Label matures for at least a year in the cool cellars, allowing it to develop its characteristic complexity and dryness.

Thanks to the high attenuation, Oude Geuze Boon Black Label is extra dry, while the wild yeasts provide a surprisingly full-bodied and layered flavor. Because this special Oude Geuze never ceases to amaze, Brouwerij Boon continues to create a new edition every year, each offering a subtly different taste experience.
