Brouwerij Lindemans
Lindemans Brewery is the largest (independent) lambic brewery and was founded in 1822.
Six generations ago, and still a family business.
They brew lambic using the traditional method of spontaneous fermentation. This fermentation starts spontaneously due to the 'wild' yeasts present in the air. The brewery makes its own specialty beers based on this lambic, of which the fruit beers make up the largest part of the volume.
