As usual at 3 Fonteinen, the beer contains no added juices, syrups or sweeteners and is bottled unfiltered and unpasteurized, which guarantees the purity and authenticity of the beer.

For this variant, the raspberries were picked by hand in Huldenberg, a region near Leuven, Belgium. The raspberries were macerated for almost four months on a blend of young and two-year-old lambics, from five different barrels and seven different brews. This contributes to the complexity of the beer, with different nuances in taste and aroma.

The final fruit intensity is 314 grams of raspberries per liter, which provides a nice balance between the fresh, slightly sour notes of the raspberries and the characteristic sourness and depth of the lambic. This makes 3 Fonteinen Raspberry a refined and tasty beer, in which the natural fruitiness is central.
