Stift Engelszell
Trappist brewery Stift Engelszell was built in 2012 in Engelhartszell an der Donau. It is the only Trappist abbey in Austria and was the eighth brewery to join the Trappist breweries.
It is a young ultramodern brewery and brewing according to the motto: "Give time and silence to the good."
The first 3 beers were named after former abbots of the abbey and are brewed after the model of the Belgian Trappist breweries.
