t Brouwers Verzet
Brewery Het Verzet was founded in 2011 by three friends Koen Van Lancker, Alex Lippens and Joran Van Ginderachter. They met each other while studying biochemistry.
The brewery first had the name 'Brouwers resistance', but they later changed it to Brewery 't Verzet. The name "Het Verzet" refers to the idea of resisting the established norms and conventions in the beer world.
In the first years, they brewed in the boilers of other breweries, but in 2016 they built their own brewery in Anzegem. The brewery is known for its diverse range of beers and experimental beer styles. They are best known for their barrel-aged and mixed fermentation (sour) beers, which often have a complex flavor and character.
