Gueuzerie Tilquin
Gueuzerie Tilquin was founded in February 2009, and it was already 12 years ago that a new gueuze producer had emerged in Brabant. What makes Gueuzerie Tilquin extra special is that it is the very first Gueuze distillery in Wallonia. Located in Bierk (Bierghes, Rebecq), just 200 meters from the language border, the company is headed by Pierre Tilquin.
Pierre has a background as a bioengineer and holds a PhD in statistics and genetics. He then followed intensive training in brewing in Leuven and gained practical experience at breweries such as Huyghe (Melle), 3 Fonteinen (Beersel) and Cantillon (Anderlecht).
