Gluhkriek is inspired by the traditional Glühwein, a heated and spiced drink that is often drunk in winter in German-speaking countries. Liefmans Gluhkriek is heated to approximately 70 degrees Celsius, which brings out the aroma and taste of cherries, herbs and spices. The beer has a deep red color and an alcohol content of 8%.
