Brewery The Musketeers was founded in 1999 by 4 brewing engineers. Brewing beer was their hobby and passion.
The first brews were developed in Kristof's mother's kitchen. More than 20 years later, two of the founders - Stefaan Soetemans and Kristof De Roo - are still at the helm of this Belgian brewery. The Troubadour Blond became the first beer in 1999, followed by the Troubadour Obscura and Troubadour Magma.
In 2016, the brewers decided to buy an old brick factory in Sint-Gillis-Waas and to renovate and convert it into a contemporary and ecological brewery.
