Brasserie Et Distillerie Caulier

The History of Brasserie Caulier begins in 1933 when Charles Caulier stops working as a miner to start distributing beers. In 1980, grandson Roger took over the management and in 1995 he started brewing himself in a new brewery built from the brewing installations of Haacht and of the closed lambic brewery De Neve. He named his beers Bon Secours after the pilgrimage site of Our Lady of Good Assistance.

In 2007, the brewery went bankrupt, but was restarted in early 2008 by Roger Caulier's sons and was given the name 'Brasserie et Distillerie Caulier'.

After the restart, the brewery creates the abbey beer Paix-dieu, which is only brewed at full moon.
