3 Fonteinen ZYF1 Blend 20 17/18 is a special blend of five of the original twelve sherry casks purchased in 2012. After two solera cycles, only seven barrels remained, five of which were used in this batch, supplemented with a small amount of young 3 Fonteinen lambic. The average age of this lambic is more than 60 months.

Due to the sensitivity of lambic to sherries, it was decided to discontinue the solera method. This beer, known as Zenne y Frontera, is a unique creation by Armand Debelder and maître-sommelier Andy De Brouwer. This millésime is a combination of young traditional lambics that have rested in more than forty year old authentic Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Zenne y Frontera reflects a symbiosis of quirky characters, wild ideas, and beautiful aromas that bring together the Senne Valley and the Jerez region.

To best bring out the aroma of this beer, we recommend using a corresponding glass.
