For this special cuvée, the Red Trosberries, a fruit traditionally harvested in the region, are carefully selected and processed whole, including the pits. A generous 45 kilograms of whole cluster berries are used per 100 liters of lambic beer, giving the beer a distinctly fruity character, with a lively, sharp acidity and a deep, layered complexity.

Using whole berries instead of juice ensures that both the natural fruit aroma and the subtle tannins from the pits are preserved, contributing to the lambic's structure and character. Trosbessen Lambic also contains only the classic basic lambic ingredients: wheat, barley malt, and hops. No artificial sweeteners, flavorings, or colorants are added, ensuring the result remains completely pure and authentic.
