3 Fonteinen ZYF4 Blend 50 17/18 is a special edition of Zenne y Frontera, with a second set of 21 Oloroso and 7 Pedro Ximénez barrels purchased at the beginning of 2017. Young lambic has matured for a year. Four barrels were lost during this process, after which 12 barrels were blended for this batch and 12 for blend 49. The average age of the lambic at release was over 2.5 years, without the addition of younger lambic (no backblending).< /p>

The beer is 100% brewed by 3 Fonteinen and is part of the unique Zenne y Frontera series, a creation of Armand Debelder and maître-sommelier Andy De Brouwer. This blend matures further in forty-year-old authentic Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, forming a perfect symbiosis of rich aromas and characterful regional products.

To best bring out the aroma of this beer, we recommend using a corresponding glass.
