Edition No. 2 presents itself in a bright golden color and combines a balanced acidity with a full, refined flavor. With an alcohol content of 7%, this gueuze delivers a refreshing and deep taste experience. The subtle carbonation enhances the aromas of green apple and grapefruit, which blend harmoniously into a long, dry finish.

Since 2015, Brouwerij Boon has launched a new edition of Black Label every year, each with a unique blend profile. While each edition has its own character and nuances, they all share the recognizable full-bodied taste and refined dry finish that make the Black Label series so special.

The first Black Label was introduced to celebrate the brewery's 40th anniversary. For this special series, Boon selects only lambics with the highest attenuation, where almost all fermentable sugars are fully fermented. Before leaving the brewery, the Black Label matures for at least a year in cool cellars, allowing it to fully develop its complex flavor profile and characteristic dryness.

Thanks to the high attenuation, the Oude Geuze Boon Black Label is extra dry, while the wild yeasts create a full-bodied, layered taste experience. Because each edition is subtly different, Boon Brewery offers a surprising and unique taste adventure every year with the Black Label.
