The Oude Geuze Boon Black Label N°9 is a refined and vibrant creation within Brouwerij Boon's renowned Black Label range. This edition, bottled on September 7, 2022, once again showcases the perfect harmony of freshness, elegance, and complexity.

As with previous editions, N°9 is a carefully crafted blend of lambics matured for one, two, and three years in the brewery's characteristic oak casks. For the Black Label editions, lambics with the highest fermentation attenuation are always selected, in which almost all fermentable sugars have been fully converted. This results in a gueuze with a distinctly dry finish, without sacrificing its richness or fullness. Before leaving the brewery, the bottles are also aged for at least another year in Boon's cellars, allowing the flavors to fully develop.

What characterizes N°9 is its refined balance and approachable character. The beer shines with a clear, golden color and elegant bubbles. Fresh aromas of grapefruit unfold on the nose, supported by a subtle citrus note and soft acidity. This is perfectly reflected on the palate: a pleasant effervescence, lively freshness, and a full-bodied finish that completes the tasting experience. The finish is long and dry, as is typical of every Black Label, but with a fruity elegance that makes this edition exceptionally drinkable.

Since the first Black Label edition in 2015, launched to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Brouwerij Boon, the series has become a staple among Oude Geuze enthusiasts. Each new edition brings subtle differences and its own unique accents, making it unique.
