Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition No. 4 is an exclusive masterpiece from the Boon Brewery, located in picturesque Lembeek, Belgium. This exceptional gueuze is a testament to craftsmanship: one-, two-, and three-year-old lambics are carefully selected and matured in traditional oak barrels, resulting in an exceptionally balanced and complex gueuze.

With an alcohol content of 7%, this edition presents itself in a bright, golden color with lively carbonation, making the tasting experience extra fresh and sparkling. The gueuze reveals a harmonious blend of delicate acidity combined with refined notes of green apple and grapefruit. The dry, crisp finish lingers and emphasizes the characteristic elegance of the Black Label series.

Since 2015, the Boon Brewery has released a new Black Label edition annually, each with its own blend profile. While each edition is unique, they all share the recognizable full-bodied character and refined dry finish that make this series so special.

The first Black Label was introduced to celebrate the brewery's 40th anniversary. For this special series, only lambics with the highest attenuation are selected, with virtually all fermentable sugars converted. Before leaving the brewery, the Black Label matures for at least a year in cool cellars, allowing the beer to fully develop its complex character and dry finish.

Thanks to this high attenuation, the Oude Geuze Boon Black Label is extra dry, while the wild yeasts create a layered and full-bodied flavor experience. Because each edition is subtly different, Boon Brewery offers a new, surprising, and unique taste adventure every year with the Black Label.
